The University of Cape Coast (UCC) invites applications for its 2025 Sandwich Programmes, designed for educators and professionals seeking advanced knowledge in Mathematics and ICT Education.
Available Programmes
1. Master of Education (Mathematics Education)
Admission Requirements:
A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Mathematics Education or a B.Ed. (Basic Education) with a Mathematics option, with at least a second-class lower division or better from a recognized university.
2. Master of Education (Information Technology)
Admission Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed.) or a Bachelor's Degree (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./BMS, etc.) with at least Second Class (Honours) and a Diploma in Education.
3. MPhil (Mathematics Education) – Top-Up Programme
Admission Requirements:
A minimum CGPA of 2.5 in Master of Education (M.Ed.) coursework, no more than one grade "C" in the M.Ed. coursework, and a grade "B" or better in the M.Ed. Research Methods course.
4. MPhil (ICT Education) – Top-Up Programme
Admission Requirements:
Holders of an M.Ed. in ICT or M.Ed. in IT are eligible for an MPhil ICT Education top-up, with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 in Master of Education (M.Ed.) coursework, no more than one grade "C" in the M.Ed. coursework, and a grade "B" or better in the M.Ed. Research Methods course.
Target Group
These programmes are open to teachers at all educational levels and other qualified professionals working in education and training.
