Ghana National Service Authority (NSA) Director-General, Felix Gyamfi, has promised personnel a possible allowance increment. This comes after Service Personnel called for a raise, citing rising inflation and increasing living costs.
Speaking on 3FM Sunrise, Gyamfi revealed that the President is considering the move and working towards a solution. He emphasized the current GHC715 allowance is inadequate, saying, "The current allowance (GHC715), I must say, is inadequate.
Discussions with the government are ongoing to adjust the GHC715 stipend to a more sustainable figure that can cushion our (Service Personnel) in these challenging times."
