So, what does this mean for teachers? The GES has established a comprehensive CPD framework, requiring educators to accumulate a minimum of 20 points annually. This includes 12 points from mandatory training, such as Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and National CPD Days, and 8 points from targeted and specialized training.

Through this structured approach, the GES seeks to empower educators, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional excellence. This is a great step forward for education in Ghana, and it's exciting to see the GES prioritizing teacher development and well-being.
