Haruna Iddrisu: "We're Committed to Building a STEM School In Every Region of Ghana."

Ghana's Minister of Education, Haruna Iddrisu, has reaffirmed the government's commitment to improving the country's education system. Speaking in Parliament, he outlined plans to expand access to quality education for all Ghanaians, from primary to secondary school and beyond.


The minister highlighted the importance of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education, announcing plans to build more STEM schools across the country. Each region will have its own STEM school, providing more opportunities for young people to develop skills in these critical areas.


In addition, Minister Iddrisu promised to complete abandoned education projects across the country, ensuring that all Ghanaians have access to quality educational facilities.


The minister also announced a new initiative to support PhD students at public universities. Every public university will receive funding to support five PhD students, helping to develop the next generation of Ghanaian experts and leaders.
