Some personnel have speculated that the delay may be attributed to the Independence Day holiday, and are patiently awaiting payment in the coming week. This incident has sparked worries about the Authority's ability to meet its financial obligations.

The National Service Scheme's rules and regulations stipulate that payment of allowances to service personnel shall be made monthly, with the level of allowance determined by the Ministry of Finance.The Authority has not provided an official explanation for the delay.
