A heartbreaking incident occurred on Friday, April 4, 2025, around 4:30 PM in Noberkow, Asunafo South District, Ahafo Region, when a pregnant woman, Susana Fosuaa Agyeman, 30, lost her life after being hit by a runaway truck with registration number AS 636-14. The truck, carrying wood, suffered a brake failure, leading to the fatal accident.

Eyewitnesses described the scene as chaotic, with one onlooker warning people to run as the truck careened out of control. In the chaos, Susana, who was hawking, fell and was struck by the truck, which subsequently overturned.
The community is in shock, and an investigation has been launched by the Asunafo South District Police Command. The driver and his mate are currently on the run, and Susana's lifeless body has been taken to the morgue for preservation.
